MND Supports the School of Superheroes Project in Ukraine
MND is continuing its support for Ukraine through a second charity project in collaboration with Olena Zelenska’s foundation. Following the success of the first project, which helped dozens of foster families in Ukraine, the company has decided to support a unique initiative aimed at children in hospital.
The School of Superheroes project provides education to children who are hospitalised for long periods due to serious illnesses or injuries caused by the war.
The School of Superheroes project began as a state educational institution under the patronage of Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska and provides pre-school and primary education to children in hospital. The aim is not only to ensure continuity of education, but also to contribute to the mental well-being and social integration of young patients who are cut off from everyday life. In 2024 and 2025, twelve new schools were opened in cities such as Vinnytsia, Rivne, Poltava and Odesa.
The opening of new School of Superheroes schools is planned for this year, with MND focusing on funding in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Vinnytsia regions. Each school is specifically designed to meet the needs of children undergoing specific treatments, including zones for different age groups and rooms for psychological support.
MND is involved in the refurbishment of hospital premises, where the schools are equipped with ergonomic furniture, teaching materials and modern teaching technologies. The project not only helps children return to normal school life, but also supports their mental health and overall development. This creates new opportunities for children who would otherwise be isolated from the standard educational process.
