MND in Ukraine helps children and para-athletes
MND in Ukraine is expanding the scope of its assistance. Representatives of the company signed an agreement with the Olena Zelenska Foundation and supported two of its projects. At the same time, in the Lviv region, they have started sponsoring parasports, contributing to the reintegration of people with disabilities into normal life.
"We have signed a cooperation with the Olena Zelenská Foundation and our goal is to help children affected by the war. This is a continuation of our previous assistance, when we co-financed a children's camp with psychological support within the Gen.Ukraine programme. Now we are funding a children's camp called Space Camp," says Lukas Svozil, Director of MND Ukraine.
MND donated a total of five million hryvnia, or about 2.5 million crowns, to the foundation. Part of it went to organising the camp and part of it went to building houses in Poltava for families who have multiple children and lost their roofs as part of the Family-type Childrenʼs Home programme.
The camp was held during the summer in the Kiev region and MND wants to continue this established cooperation.

Our support also goes directly to the people of Lviv. At the moment, there is a particularly huge number of people in the country and in Lviv in particular who have lost limbs and want to return to a normal life.
"It is important that we also play our part in the integration of people with disabilities," emphasises Lukas.
That is why the company has supported the Invictus Games organisation, which brings together para-athletes and organises competitions under the Lviv regional administration. These are activities of all kinds - from athletics to ball sports, swimming and more. The first tournament supported by MND is an archery competition. Archery is especially popular among war veterans and the local club has many members.
The competition was held at the end of August and we supported it by purchasing special carbon arrows.
Parasports will support MND for the long term.
