MND in Ukraine supported dozens of foster families

On Thursday, 13 November, a planned team-building day was held for employees of MND Energy Storage and MND Gas Storage, offering a combination of good food, sporting activities and a relaxing evening programme. The event was divided into three parts – a joint lunch, a badminton tournament and a guided wine tasting.

Four times more crude oil than before is sent by MND from the Lusatian railway station to Kralupy nad Vltavou these weeks. The reason for this is the termination of transport via the Druzhba pipeline. All the crude oil produced must be transported by tanker - first by truck, then by rail.

The biggest Czech stage race Czech Tour started from Prague for the first time in history and in four days it crossed the country to the top of Pusteven. The competitors covered a total of 663 kilometres and climbed 9,209 vertical metres. MND as the main partner was there not only with support for the starting cyclists, but also with an accompanying program for the fans.

On Friday, March 28, after lunch, we left our desks and went for a completely new experience - to try curling. This seemingly quiet sport, known mainly from TV screens, quickly convinced us that "sliding stones on ice" is no fun.

The last drilling here was in the summer of 2023. While the frogs were croaking then, now, at the end of winter, there are plenty of hares and deer roaming the surrounding fields. And in the evenings, beavers are regularly seen cupitating in the adjacent Burnt Creek.

Excavators, bulldozers, trucks, and drilling and mining as much as possible. MND is building a new production centre and other infrastructure on the Tynivska licence that will allow it to increase production to over 700,000 cubic metres of gas per day. In October, colleagues from MND Energy Storage set out to help people affected by the floods that swept through the Czech Republic and caused particularly severe damage in northern Moravia. Magda Lengálová has written a report for the readers of the Report, which can also serve as an inspiration - for example, to help the damaged municipality financially.

"Section Commander to Strike Commander: we're starting to cool the probe!" comes over the radio from a fireman wearing a breathing mask. Streams of water from the fire hoses spray the production cross of the probe, from which gas escapes spontaneously to prevent ignition. Dozens of firefighters are on the scene, water tankers are running one after the other, an ambulance is on the scene and a drone is monitoring the situation.
