Start allowed! MND had fun in the air and on the ground
After a year we gathered again - colleagues, friends, members of one big MND family - to spend a day full of joy, experience and inspiration. This time we went to the heights - literally. This year's meeting was in the spirit of aviation and took place in a special place: the airport in Breclav.
Thanks to the friendliness and enthusiasm of the Aeroclub Břeclav we had a unique opportunity to see the fascinating world of aircraft. The whole day was like a movie - from the first flights to the breathtaking finale.
The modelers showed us their masterpieces - precise models of aircraft that hovered above our heads with elegance and precision. Each flight was a small work of art that garnered well-deserved admiration.
And then came the icing on the cake - the aerobatic show of Martin Šonka, the world champion in aerobatics. His performance was not only visually stunning but also deeply inspiring. He showed us what courage, precision and passion for flying mean.
But it wasn't just the sky that was full of excitement - it was alive on the ground too! Our palates were royally catered for. Food and drink were plentiful, ice cream delighted many a sweet tooth, and coffee, mixed drinks, beer, and wine flowed. There was a relaxed atmosphere, laughter and good mood everywhere.
The musical backdrop was first provided by the Brno band Umberto, whose repertoire accompanied the daily programme. In the evening, the band The Teacher took over the stage and made many dancers dance.
It was a day we will remember for a long time - not only because of the planes and the show, but mainly because we were able to experience it together.
Thank you to everyone involved in the organisation and we look forward to seeing where the wind takes us next!
