November teambuilding MND ES and MND GS
On Thursday, 13 November, a planned team-building day was held for employees of MND Energy Storage and MND Gas Storage, offering a combination of good food, sporting activities and a relaxing evening programme. The event was divided into three parts – a joint lunch, a badminton tournament and a guided wine tasting.
A pleasant start to the day with lunch together
We began the meeting with lunch together at the Park Restaurant in Břeclav. Colleagues from both companies gathered in an informal atmosphere and had the opportunity to chat outside of the work environment. The shared meal set a friendly tone for the whole day and prepared us for an afternoon of sports.
Badminton tournament: 28 players and lots of energy
From 1 p.m., we spent four hours in the badminton hall in Břeclav, where the company tournament took place. A total of 28 players took part in the sporting events. Doubles were played and the system was set up so that players alternated in each match – both teammates and opponents. It was an ideal opportunity to get to know colleagues better and enjoy sport in a friendly spirit.
Each participant played six shortened matches of two sets to 15 points. Although the performances were often very evenly matched, at the end of the tournament we were able to award the three best women and three best men, who took home medals as a symbol of their success and the great sporting atmosphere.
Wine tasting at the Bíza Winery: a pleasant end to the day
At six o'clock in the evening, we moved to Čejkovice, where a guided tasting took place at the Bíza Winery. Those who know Mr Bíza knew that it would be a very lively and entertaining programme – and they were definitely not mistaken.
The tasting was accompanied by refreshments, which helped us recharge our batteries after the sporting activities, and the relaxed atmosphere provided an opportunity for further informal meetings. The whole day was spent in a friendly and collegial spirit and offered the opportunity to meet outside the work environment, have fun together and enjoy some sporting activities.
We would like to thank all participants for their great attitude and active involvement.
