Artificial intelligence is now part of almost every profession – and if we can use it properly, it can be of great help to us. We spoke to Libor Sedláček, an HR analyst at MND who has been actively using AI for several years, about his day-to-day experiences.

When we hear the term "chief energy officer," most of us imagine a person surrounded by tables and graphs, checking whether the numbers add up and consumption matches the plan. In the case of Tomáš Báborský, MND's new chief energy officer, however, the reality is much more colourful.

AI, artificial intelligence. Two words that have been resonating not only in the world of technology for some time now, but are also increasingly penetrating our everyday working lives. AI is talked about, written about, discussed – but how do we actually use it at MND? And what does it mean for each of us?

It has been impossible to escape the topic of ESG in recent years. We have written about it several times in our magazine and spoken to many of you. In May this year, we put theory into practice and published the first consolidated sustainability report for the MND Group under the new European rules. This is not just a task or an obligation. Above all, it is clearly compiled data on how our Group operates from a different perspective - ecological, human and process. In this article, you will briefly learn what we reported, what we found out about the Group as a result and what the sustainability report means in practice.

This year we prepared two dates of suburban camps for the children of our employees during the summer holidays. The first camp took place at the beginning of July in cooperation with Handball Hodonín, the second one at the end of the summer in cooperation with FK Hodonín.

The Report has succeeded for the third time in the Zlatý středník competition and again takes third place among the best Czech and Slovak internal magazines. This year, it also won bronze in the Lemur competition, where it had even more competition, as it was included in the category of periodical company materials.

The MND Group has published its results for 2024.

After a year we gathered again - colleagues, friends, members of one big MND family - to spend a day full of joy, experience and inspiration. This time we went to the heights - literally. This year's meeting was in the spirit of aviation and took place in a special place: the airport in Breclav.

With the arrival of spring came new energy - and together we turned it into movement. In April, we launched a movement challenge in support of Svatopluk Vavrys (Svati), which became not only a great opportunity to improve physical fitness and immunity, but above all a strong gesture of solidarity.

In mid-October, we inaugurated the first project of cogeneration units connected directly to a gas well in Borkovany. The equipment, which is the first of its kind in the Czech Republic, was visited by the Minister of Industry and Trade Lukáš Vlček.
