Meeting with MND Energy Storage and MND Gas Storage customers
While the MND Party took place in Lužice on 13 June, the traditional customer meeting organised by MND Energy Storage and MND Gas Storage took place in Rakvice in the majestic Dominant Wine House. The event was attended by approximately 25 customers who came to find out what new products we are planning, as well as to enjoy delicious food and great wine.
The event started at 10 o'clock with a welcome to the guests, who gradually gathered and enjoyed morning coffee and refreshments. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, which was ideal for deepening mutual relations. At 11 am, the first part of the programme started with presentations. Representatives of the organizing companies showed innovations in the field of gas storage. First of all, the main changes in the upcoming storage regulations as well as the auction system with new auction types were presented. The presentations were not only information-rich but also entertaining, which was appreciated by all present.
The block of presentations was followed by lunch. Everyone enjoyed traditional Czech specialties, which were certainly prepared by expert hands. During lunch, lively discussions were held on the presented topics and participants exchanged their opinions and experiences. After lunch, we focused on practical aspects and concrete examples from practice related to the presented topics and developments in the gas market. Visitors had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss various topics, which led to many interesting and inspiring debates.
Afternoon and evening programme
The afternoon was dedicated to either a visit to the underground gas storage facility in Dambořice or a tour of the wine cellar with traditional wine production in Rakvice. Both options were very attractive and the participants could choose the activity according to their preferences. Those who participated in our event for the first time usually opted for a visit to the Dambořice gas storage facility, which gave them a deeper insight into the technological processes at the gas storage facility. Guests who had already participated in previous years tended to prefer a tour of the wine cellar with traditional wine production.
The aim of the meeting was above all to deepen relationships with our business partners that cannot be established "online". Once again, the face-to-face meeting proved to be irreplaceable in this respect. Furthermore, we listened to the ideas and opinions of our customers, which are essential feedback and a source of inspiration for our future work. The proof that the event was a success, in our opinion, is the declaration of the participants before they left that they are already looking forward to another similar event and that they hope we will maintain the excellent level of this event and hopefully improve it in the future.

After work fun? After work, the vineyard!
Václav Kratochvil works as an operator on the gas storage facility in Uhřice. In addition, he farms a two-hectare vineyard, where he takes care of about ten thousand heads of vines. When he goes to work, he walks - the journey takes him fifteen minutes. Just walk up the hill, walk through his vineyard and there he is. On the way back, he sees what needs to be done. "I really enjoy working on the hopper. But working in the vineyard, that's what fulfills me. I could be here all day and be happy. It clears your head," he says.
