Interesting figures from the Sustainability Report
Preparations for the 2025 sustainability report are in full swing. Dozens of colleagues across the MND Group are already collecting data, verifying information and participating in audit meetings so that we can publish a report at the end of April next year, which will serve as an important reference for banks, investors and partners in tender procedures.
Almost 100 colleagues across the group are currently involved in preparing the report:
-
Most of them (50) are focusing on environmental topics, such as the amount of energy consumed and produced, the amount of waste generated, and water management. Together, this amounts to 220 pieces of information reported in this area alone.
-
Information about employees is processed by 20 colleagues, who provide us with data on employees broken down by gender, age category, or type of employment, for example. This amounts to a total of 160 items of information.
-
A total of 35 colleagues are involved in collecting general information and data on company management. They provide data on, for example, ownership structure or internal policies. In this area, we regularly monitor and report a total of 110 items of information.
The scope of the data collected varies between companies depending on the type of activity – not every company in the group reports all 490 items of information. We greatly appreciate the helpfulness and cooperation with which all colleagues across the various parts of MND are involved in the process.

For the first time, we have published a sustainability report. Why is it important?
It has been impossible to escape the topic of ESG in recent years. We have written about it several times in our magazine and spoken to many of you. Above all, it is clearly compiled data on how our Group operates from a different perspective - ecological, human and process. In this article, you will briefly learn what we reported, what we found out about the Group as a result and what the sustainability report means in practice.

The bismuth plug worked. The unique method will also be used on gas storage facilities
In June, colleagues used a unique method at the Krumvíř 3 well - for the first time in the history of MND, a thermal isolation method using a bismuth-tin alloy was applied. And as it turned out, it not only works, but has the potential to solve a whole range of technical challenges. The first deployment took place in challenging conditions that conventional methods would have found difficult to handle - or even at all.
