However, Jana Hamršmídová, Director of the Energy Division at MND, says that the key lies not in fighting for quotas, but in active collaboration, mutual respect and diversity within teams. In this interview, she talks about changing corporate culture, fostering respect and balancing career and family life.

At MND today, women work across all sectors – from operations and technical teams through to trading, and into specialist and managerial roles. It is their perspectives, experiences and career paths that this three-way interview explores.

He proposed. And he got a vineyard to go with it.

If you’d met Ondřej Zháněl when he was eighteen and told him he’d one day become a winemaker, he’d probably have tapped his forehead in disbelief. Trading 2025: volatility and new opportunities

The year 2025 proved unfavourable for trading activities. Since the new US administration took office, an unpredictable ‘storm’ of tariffs has raged. The markets were unable to cope with this – and we were no exception. There were sharp fluctuations in energy commodity prices simply on the basis of Donald Trump’s comments on Twitter or in reaction to a newspaper headline, even though the latter contained no new information. A very unfortunate period.
