Interesting figures from the Sustainability Report
Preparations for the 2025 sustainability report are in full swing. Dozens of colleagues across the MND Group are already collecting data, verifying information and participating in audit meetings so that we can publish a report at the end of April next year, which will serve as an important reference for banks, investors and partners in tender procedures.
Almost 100 colleagues across the group are currently involved in preparing the report:
-
Most of them (50) are focusing on environmental topics, such as the amount of energy consumed and produced, the amount of waste generated, and water management. Together, this amounts to 220 pieces of information reported in this area alone.
-
Information about employees is processed by 20 colleagues, who provide us with data on employees broken down by gender, age category, or type of employment, for example. This amounts to a total of 160 items of information.
-
A total of 35 colleagues are involved in collecting general information and data on company management. They provide data on, for example, ownership structure or internal policies. In this area, we regularly monitor and report a total of 110 items of information.
The scope of the data collected varies between companies depending on the type of activity – not every company in the group reports all 490 items of information. We greatly appreciate the helpfulness and cooperation with which all colleagues across the various parts of MND are involved in the process.

The life cycle of a borehole ends with reclamation. What does it involve?
The drilling and subsequent disposal of the probe is a fascinating process that can be likened to the life cycle from birth to death. Every well, whether exploratory or production, has its own life story. Repot is now bringing you a series that will present interesting reclamations of our specific sites one by one. But in this issue, let's talk in general terms about what such reclamation looks like, why it's done in the first place, and how much it actually costs.
Bentec 450 at the planned dress rehearsal
During the first quarter of 2025, the Bentec 450 is undergoing a five-year inspection. The rig had to interrupt its drilling campaign in Hungary, where it has been operating since last year, to carry out this important part of its regular maintenance. The inspection itself is mainly carried out in Lusatia and partly in Bad Bentheim and Hungary. Once completed, the BT450 is expected to be recommissioned and the project will resume during April.
